Banks Hold On To Toxic Assets

If our banking system is living on the totally unproven expectatio­n that the toxic assets they hold will eventually return to their previous value, then our future is a disaster on its way. It's like a distant Star that has already exploded - but we won't see it happen for years! Gad, what a mess.
