I've never heard a republican - drunk or not, adequately explain in what way Newt is even qualified to order lunch, much less direct traffic or run a nation.
The "smart Newt" myth gets dragged out every time it looks like he might actually do something - rather than just bloviate until the air in the room sours. But just sit tight, it'll all blow over again; it always does.
