I cannot stand the idea of human beings being able to dispense hurt with such regimented certainty. I'm a San Franciscan, and if my glorious city cannot find a way for this man to survive this incident with his job intact, then I want the names of the elected officials who let this come to pass, so I can express my contempt where it will be felt... Somebody has got to start caring for somebody else - or we're all wretched, and undeserving of respect.
