I love that one; thanks for posting it. Years ago, when I first heard that quote, I had the sinking sensation that his view of reality was terrifyingly true, and that all we experience as a society is never more than a production, conjured up by the cleverest of wizards and fakes whose only goal is trying to get the most money from idiot children of the uber wealthy.
So, on this one I'm of a mind with Tennessee Williams, who noticed that luxury, not poverty, is the wolf at the door.
