Delusion is not a defense for being offensive. The David's can grunt until they're sore, but their display was meant to offend; did, and they know it and want it to continue to hurt.
Hopefully nobody will think and think and think until they come up with a "burning man" quality, high impact, top-notch, over-the-top reprisal. That would be wrong...
