This is such a fraud. Social Security cost is not the hot issue - it's just the hot political weapon being used by the conservatives; whose goal is not to fix anything, but to remove the social safety net for the mdidle-class, leaving them dependent entirely on employers to set the terms of employment, the pay, and the benefits. It's rightfully called "gutting the American Dream". The people you know who accept this as an inevitability are the enemy of your happiness.
