Prop 8, California's Same-Sex Marriage Ban, Gets Another Day In Court

The thing to notice is that Charles Cooper already has been checkmated - the core of his argument is an untenable interpreta­tion of logic that would grind the courts to a halt as appeals sprang up from every corner of every case.



The only possible reason this case is moving forward is in the pathetic hope that some of the justices will suddenly form a line in front of the bench, hike up their robes and do the can-can.
