Rick Santorum Says Families With Undocumented Immigrants Should Be Broken Up

Astonishin­g that ideas of this kind have been allowed anywhere near the center of an American town. Bachmann, Santorum - and others on the wild side of sanity, are an alarm bell telling us there is great danger ahead if we act on the hatred and rage that fuels their rhetoric. They're pushing Americans to an extreme edge - beyond which is the stuff that will tear us apart as a nation - ethnic cleansing and mass-awful­ness. It must be stopped or America loses its definition­, and any legitimacy as a beacon for the good in mankind.
