The facts are incomplete, yet the solution is chosen and we all must accept it's authority. That is the compromise that I reject - because it validates bad thinking as worthy of consideration. I like to think that I am accepting of compromise - but not all of them are "reasonable", and I am morally obligated to try to understand which ones are reasonable enough to impose on other people.
