Your facts are correct enough, but an assumption that the circmstances of existence do not have a profound, ovewhelming influence on one's course in life does not make sense to me in the slightest. You have reached a conclusion about souls, and I think that is way beyond our paygrade - and if yours were the prevailing point of view, American survival seems unlikely. To reject ones own composition is to be divided from the start, and to be defeated in the end.
