There is no situation of human happiness that cannot be ruined by religious zealots. Open a newspaper, listen to a radio, look ahead, look behind - there they are, in every language, wearing every type of hat somebody could think up, throwing shoes, constitutions, stones and vivid threats - like right now in the Ukraine, and every day pushing red-state America into becoming as disgusting, brutal and unacceptable as anything the world has yet seen.
