I would never support a Mormon for public office because I completely disagree with their world view. And they wouldn't support me because I'm a progressive - holding a view of life with which they disagree.
But Mormonism can flourish all it wants in my country - just don't expect me to believe that the 'garden of eden' is in Missouri, and that there is no Trinity, and... Surely they can understand why we might be a little underwhelmed.
