I don't even know when I lost consciousness, or when the crazies got into my TV, but it is not a dream. Americans are been herded into a stance against their own interests, and against the interests of the community in which they live - and which they count on for safety, security and a way of life.
Darden, and myriad others in the new right-wing wind tunnel are pushing for a society in which working class Americans are left with nothing but fear, insecurity, and depression - absent the shared reality of our history, our dreams, and our sacred accomplishments as Americans.
I have no desire to ever help those businesses or those individuals, except to cram an olive into a lobster and throw it at them - for the entertainment value, and the message of disrespect.
