Even though I have absolutely no extra information - and even though everything 'common' seems to be converging in guilt, I think I'm going to hang out with the 'hope' that he truly misunderstood the situation, and with overwhelming fear made a terrible choice. I will change my mind as facts dictate, but I really hope that it won't be neccessary.
