DOJ To Brief Congress On Aaron Swartz Prosecution

...drop the "maybe" chorus. There is no "maybe" anywhere near this tragedy. The obvious prevails with the clarity of sunlight on a white wall, and it is this: the law went after the weak, not the guilty - the pure of heart, unlearned of the insidious pathways of bad law, was an easy young deer in the headlights of a shooter. I want Ortiz to bleed on the sand in the arena, as Swartz was expected to do. He couldn't do it. He was high; in thrall to his own wisdom in knowing where the fight would be fought, and the things that must be won.
