The value of the internet is that it increases the power of the individual­, which can be measured by the ferocity of the attack on that power. SOPA, PIPA and ACTA are tentacles of that attack - more are growing. The cruel fact is that mankind will offer no coordinate­d, successful resistance­.



The future will offer personal autonomy only to those individual­s who learn to evade and avoid those tentacles; for the rest of humanity there will be scrutiny and control.
