How sublimely low a human can descend is being tested to the extreme by the people of Arizona. I never in a million thoughts would have believed that such insanity could grow in America. Yet now it is 2012 and I am loath to contact a dear friend in Arizona for fear that I may hear that he has crossed over to the bad side. Pretty soon some line will be crossed and progressives will have to clean up the rightwing mess - just like we always end up doing, one way or the other.
One thing for sure: photo everything you see in Arizona. This will all be needed in the aftermath for the war criminal trials.
