Aaron Swartz's Father: MIT Put 'Institutional Concerns Ahead Of Compassion'
Some commenters insist that "he stole; he's guilty." Aaron Swartz believed that the theft had already occurred.
His proposition was that knowledge is oxygen to a conscious being. And, as a modern man he becme devoted to the understanding that the convoluted copyright wall growing around all information is acting to choke humanity's essential path to that knowledge. Devoted! - as an ethical stance, and he was unlucky enough to go up against a predator law-slinger - who devoured him.
