Here in California we are being rightfully shamed into paying our sales taxes, and I just purchased an HD TV from a local Best Buy. No big deal, but it's the first large tech item I have not purchased from Amazon since 2005. I still order tons of stuff from them, but it's now very very satisfying buying something and knowing that it helps somebody keep a local job.
