She is feinting. Her office DID support this harshness and her statement makes me puke. Even according to that statement, she was perfectly ready to seek a sentence of years and years and years behind bars if he didn't let them convict him of what he believed was not a crime warranting such punishment. She could sleep with that! And oh, she can drop the fantasy of there being something laudable about the term 'career prosecutor'.
