The common Zuckervii are always up for hiring more miners to dig out more coal, drillers to bring up more black gold - or anything one flip away from cash. They want 50 more years of their gilded life, and cheap labor is an essential, and the actual future is of little value beyond it's promotional uses.
Good analogy with Pia Zadora. In her ultimate wisdom, tore down one of the most important icons of Hollywood history - Pickfair, the legendary home of Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks. And she did it before anyone realized she was doing it. She did it 'cause she's a superstitious simpleton and because she wanted to build a gilded palace.
