Well, the GOP got a wish fullfilled - a scandal they can sail all the way to 2016.
The only wrinkle in all this is that the head of the IRS was a Republican and the mainline Republican GOP didn't like the T-party types one bit. They wanted the T-party to go away, and here was a good way to help make that happen...
