Well, they're drinkers - probably noisy ones at that! Of course they want marijuana to look bad. But the fact is that they're willing to obfuscate or lie to support their unsubstantiated scenarios - dreamed up by far-too-uptight social misfits who have no desire to hear the truth. Remember their anthem - "sure we're drunk and dangerous, but thank god we're not high!"
