S. officials, using sanctioned interrogation methods - which included waterboarding, learned of a terrorist plot for a devastating attack on Los Angeles and consequently thwarted that attack; and in the third event, Liz Cheney is coined and begins circulation among the minds of conservatives, with her stealth launch offering a stern and familiar political trajectory.
