I can almost actually hear the growls of distaste from umpteen thousand young people who have had no meaningful introducti­on to the mental, human, spiritual world of art. Without understand­ing, looking at the spiral today is to see nothing more exalted than an old campfire site, where some humans must have gathered - to do something different, for some human reason someone once could articulate­.
