Amazon Boycott Over Internet Sales Tax Gains Momentum


You state that so easily. Impressive­. Your point is right at the center of the issue and challenges the neat and tidy clarity of my argument. But I really don't want to lose the great advantage online shopping offers - such as being able to read extensive profession­al and customer reviews and extended product informatio­n, as opposed to asking questions of a nice non-expert with limited training.



What I really hope for is the public's acceptance of the business model where online shipping costs are offset with the tax discount. I think that's the best way to look at the balance between brick-and-­mortar and click-and-­ship.



If main street wants more customers it'll have to think differentl­y and re-tool.
