Today is becoming too much like 4th century life in the Roman provinces - the prominent and educated refraining from public leadership because the idiots have taken over the conversati­on - replacing an understand­ing of reality with gibberish, superstiti­on and religion.



Like it was back then, the financiall­y secure citizens are increasing­ly reluctant to be visibly successful when everyone else is sharing half a loaf of bread.



The future will see very few successful citizens and solid leaders jumping at the chance to get their faces on a statue in the middle of town square - it would be like being on the Have-Nots Most Wanted list.
