The giggling heads on cable news are the ones I don't need when I'm eating dinner. I could share a meal with Claire Danes, no problem, but popping shrimp while listening to Brokaw's effete segregation of the 'assumed informed' from the 'known charming' would be the deal breaker for me. His increasingly tired and boorish status as America's Rater General is way past sell date.
