We're living in an evolving Rogues Gallery - each political cycle brings new examples of the descent of the American creation - the one our grandparents thought they had planted deep and sure. Look at the faces; listen to the vile hatreds and the murderous language. We are shoveling our worst citizens up onto the national stage to yell back at us while we watch them mangle and destroy any chance that we have to be a "people".
