If the "deal" includes the government paying his legal expenses - or worse, putting tax money in his pocket to "coax" him into resignation, I would be apoplectic. I'm a political progressive, so this guy is a stain on my team, and I don't like it one bit. Filner needs to bite it, ST FU, and get outta sight. And as anyone with a TV knows - once Gloria Allred shows up, you're toast.
