An Emotional Quagmire - Zoo opens to tourists and curious onlookers: "'I came to mourn the death of Tatiana,' said Susan Pettitt, a Santa Clara resident who has visited the zoo each week for the past three years. She brought a card, a stuffed tiger and three photos she had taken of Tatiana, and placed them in front of the statue.
'She was a fun-loving tiger who would greet you when you came,' Pettitt said. 'It's going to be weird that she's not here. I know today I won't see them, but my heart is with the big cats.'"
