Personal resume building Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley has pain in mind for anyone whose view differs from what he believes. He'll talk about "the law" but he couldn't care less about that - what bothers him is somebody not doing what he says. Yes, he's one of the dogs that yelp along the side of the bus, unable to board, unable to alter the direction of the bus. He can't stand that; he is beside himself; he is also the most trite buzz kill in all of LA.
As someone way smarter than him once said - and he was a cop - "there is no situation of human misery that can't be made worse by the presence of a police officer." That's Cooley in a nutshell.
