I am happy as a clam to see this moving in this direction.
Google may or may not be driven by jerks, powered by greed, and hypocritical at the core, but as an American corporation, they are playing with exciting, realtime history, doing what a gigantic for-profit business never does - hang the whole enchilada way out over the edge for the sake of an ethical principle.
