Others believe - quite soberly - that we came from elsewhere a godzillion years ago; perhaps as sort of a microbial passenger on a breakaway hunk of Mars, or (your fantasy goes here) .Some other scalliwag luminary - this one from the 20th century - thought that "language is a virus from outer space."
The only thing for certain is that Hollywood producers drool and sweat over the amount of money one can make from such amazing concepts once they're made into celluloid wet dreams.
