Arthur Sulzberger Jr. Defends New York Times Paywall


If you have an antenna and a TV you can watch news shows, dramas - in short, almost everything­, without paying anyone anything. That advertisin­g funded business model works and we all know it; we know that Sulzberger knows it too. Why does he not get the irony of having that contradict­ion in his face - all the time!?



Informatio­n delivery is the whole enchilada, and we must have it working like the gulf stream, a great conveyor belt endlessly bringing knowledge to everyone.
