iPhone, Smartphone Tracking: How Much Is Too Much?
This caught my attention: "...she doesn't see a problem with phone companies using her location to produce targeted ads, as long as they deliver relevant offers to her." That reminds me of what Jefferson Airplane guitarist Jorma Kaukonen once said, "I don't care if my lettuce has DDT on it, as long as it's crisp." Clever, no? But I think it's wrong. DDT does matter; privacy IS critical, and we must remember that in a very short period of time human minds will be scan-able, and our private inner thoughts reachable - from the outside.
