The independents of Massachusetts just shot me in the foot. Because of them - not anyone else, just them - healthcare reform is dead. There will be no "reconciliation", no modifications, nothing at all except defeat, runaway healthcare costs, and national inertia.
How many times do we have to see the movie before we get the plot - America is just a place where the rich live, eat and pontificate.
