Please pass me by.
I have my own opinion of what sanctity is all about - and what I need to respect and protect. But instead, at almost every turn I feel admonished to remain respectful of the anguish of those offended by... something or other; like modern life, or religion-free happiness, or... any one of a zillion rules that some people assume are real; are important for me to recognize - and honor. And there's the hard part. I do not honor or respect everything that crosses the mind of an American heartlander - I don't need to; I have direct contact with good.
