Surrealistic Pillow - 1967

"When I first heard the Jefferson Airplane's 'Surrealistic Pillow', playing it on a mastering turntable at Western Recorders in Hollywood, it seemed as if they had transcribed reality for street use, and illiminated the need for a bridge. We were there! These were the new drawings on the cave wall, replacing those that now lied to us with every glance."
