John Roberts Officially Leaving CNN's 'American Morning'

What ultimately makes Morning Joe work is the trace of menace in his perfect good-cop-b­ad-cop aura. He will sing your resumé and salute your gravity, he'll pull you closer, he'll lay in wait, he'll pounce and slash - sometimes all within the same sentence. Joe's a master, and he gives good show, but as a progressiv­e I have zero illusions about the game he's playing.
