Have you ever watched a 65 year old try to get a new job? Would you hire a 65 year old, and take on their health care issues and costs? Many, many employers just aren't going to do it. Plus, if the 65 year old doesn't retire, then younger workers don't get that job. You're probably a nice person, but don't pretend that you're helping the country by bending over for the wealthy - all you're doing is allowing them to cash-in your American Dream and buy their kids another pony.
