Justice Department Calls For Required Data Retention


No, we don't,. But it won't be just about porn - not by any means. If there is data being retained out there, some divorce lawyer will subpoena it to find out where a wayward spouse is going on weekends; a resumé-bui­lding prosecutor is gonna troll for 'online gambling', the feds will look for 'aspirin from Canada' and 'wiki...ev­erything', and a Coffee Party might suddenly form and revolt against 'guns from Georgia' - everyone will mine the data for their own ends.



The powers of the world are threatened as never before by the internet and its free-flow of informatio­n. They will do anything to control it. There is no second choice - it is their survival at stake.
