USDA: Eggs' Cholesterol Lower Than Thought, Vitamin D Higher


This is good news, because 5 days a week I slow-fry 1 egg on top of 1/3 teaspoon canola oil, over-easy, peppered, then onto 1/2 piece of toasted extra sour rye, and a small, room temperatur­e can of V-8 juice.



Of course, that still leaves me 2 days to screw things up, such as gorging on biscuits and gravy, and maybe some of Sarah Palin's special patriotic caribou - the ones that "take one for the team."



But I have a friend who says that it's not the exceptions­, it's what you eat more or less every day that counts. So, I little diversion is not necessaril­y a deal killer. ...I hope she's correct.
