She stirred the hornet's nest with that phone call, and it brought to the public's attention a former Thomas lover who explained - eloquently­, and believably­, why Anita Hill's account rings as true as a bell as regards the peculiarit­ies of the character of this man. Unfortunat­ley for Mrs. Thomas, she was sabotaged by her husband, who has denied her the truth, and left her vulnerable to ridicule. Pretty shameful.
