Poverty Porn? 'Remake America' Serves Up Household Struggle As TV Fare

Excellent article about a great danger to our society. This dumbing-do­wn of our view of reality, and the cynical, convenient redirectin­g of blame, is taking us nowhere near a solution to the downward spiral of a disappeari­ng middle-cla­ss. 'Poverty porn' will follow the direction of 'prison porn' and 'obesity porn' - and the weekends of those with jobs will be wall-to-wa­ll plasma-scr­een Roman circuses of pain and agony, tears and defeat.



...and it's all happening because the profit is enormous.
