All working people should aspire to a better life, where health benefits and pensions are seen as necessary components of the "general welfare" - not just a goal of the "pursuit of happiness"­. It's not whether or not it's a 'right' but that it's smart business to increase the likelihood of strong commerce by increasing the economic security of citizens. And it's vital morally.
