Scalia: Women Don't Have Constitutional Protection Against Discrimination

If a woman is a 'citizen' how can the 14th amendment not include her? Why would its framers choose the term 'citizen' if they did not mean 'citizen'? But the real odor comes from Scalia's reasoning that women can be discrimina­ted against in any way possible - and the Constituti­on allows it. It hardly matters that it's a total crock; what really matters is that Scalia is a dangerous presence, doing his work at the core of our nation... truly horrific for a free people.
