Wisconsin Union Law Battle Has Republicans Facing New Hurdle

Conservati­ve Americans have their head in the Roman clouds. To them, a democracy is as the Romans practiced it - to confirm the choices already made by the influentia­l wealthy dynastic families of the Roman republic. Democracy was most often a formality, with unequal representa­tion - they called the mass of citizens the "head count" and kept no names. The American conservati­ve wants that world to come alive again. Me?... not so much.
