Hmmm, I wonder... If this were occurring in 1985, could the U. S. have attacked and destroyed the Soviet Union's military? If you look at the map showing the affected, covered areas, it seems clear that the Soviet air force and missile capacity would have been catastrophically sidelined. Just sayin...
