The America Heartland is a treasure trove of thinking that makes absolutely no sense to me - on any reasonable level. Yet so many mouths spout myriad proclamations and statements praising some of America's worst ideas and sentiments - made important simply because they spring from someplace loosely - but specifically - known as the "Heart of America". I am darn tired of pretending that this bunk is not bunk.
